1) Beryl is an unnatural and evolved feline, if it is true of a feline it is generally true of Beryl.
2) Beryl has no human genes, and cannot eat chocolate nor slow their heart below 180 beats a minute even at rest.
3) Beryl will risk their life for those that they share a bond with, but few others.

Bonds: Beryl will always protect children.
Beryl will always protect Maddox.
Beryl is distrustful of strangers and Fae.

Afflictions: Trouble Magnet - It will find them, looking for it or not.
Heightened senses - Beryl's increased heart rate, reaching like any cats nearly 240 beats when in danger, can fill them with adrenaline quickly and give them heightened reflexes a human could not keep up with as their own hearts would give out even at Beryl's state of rest. This will however make them overheat even faster, and pant desperately to cool down.
Cat Perspective - They often think about things as a cat and their perspective sometimes confuses others.
Energy engine - Soaks in latent energy (magical, aetheric, electrical, etc.) and converts it for other creatures use (usually their witch). Dangerous for user and engine - Nullifies magical influences, including healing properties that might have been meant for Beryl's own benefit, instead being prepared for their witch.
